Vanita Krouch
Born in a refugee camp in the Philippines, Vanita Krouch moved to the United States with her family when she was two months old. She is best known as an American flag football pioneer and physical education teacher who has won three IFAF Flag Football World Championships and two World Games titles as a quarterback. Her home in Carrollton, Texas, is a source of immense pride, representing years of hard work and the stability she worked to provide for her family. Most meaningful of all, it gives her mother the first bedroom she has ever had entirely to herself.
